Catch and release restrictions

On all rivers, all sea trout greater than 60cm must be released with minimum injury and delay.

All sea trout must be released within minimum injury and delay before 1 May on the following rivers:

On the rivers Severn and Wye and its tributaries, all sea trout must be returned with minimum injury and minimum delay.

On the rivers Tywi, Taf, East and West Cleddau and their tributaries, sea trout caught after 7 October must be returned with minimum injury and with minimum delay.

On rivers Seiont, Ogwen, Dwyryd, Dyfi and Conwy and their tributaries, sea trout caught after 17 October must be returned with minimum injury and with minimum delay.
