Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II

Chief Executive of Natural Resources Wales, Clare Pillman has expressed her sadness on the news of the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

“It is with great sadness that we learn of the passing of Her Majesty The Queen.

“Her reign has been extraordinary - dedicating her life to the service of the Commonwealth and its people and to her many patronages and charities, many of which focussed on the preservation and protection of wildlife and the environment.

“As we reflect on her long and remarkable life, we give thanks for her devoted and tireless service which will remain an inspiration to us all. We extend our deepest condolences to the Royal Family at this time.”

In light of the news of the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, our visitor centres will be closed on Friday 9 September.
